BIOGRAPHY
Stefan entered the bicycle industry during the mountain bike boom at the end of the 1980’s and found his passion for cycling and bicycle technology. A few years after joining the bike industry in sales, he was promoted to work as product manager and purchaser, giving him experience in all aspects of the cycling industry. His university background led him back into R&D and product development with Vittoria, where he has focused on graphene applications in carbon and polymer compounds.
ABSTRACT
Material Innovation seems often to be the playground of Multi-billion Dollar companies. Stefan will show the journey to develop a new product using the Wonder-material Graphene, from the first idea to the market introduction of a full range of bicycle tires.
